Let me tell you something that you may not want to hear.

Personal Training is a SALES job!

Thats right a sales job! I know you may not want to hear or believe that but the quicker you realize that this is true the faster you can become a highly profitable personal trainer!

Just think of it this way. You could be the best trainer in the whole wide world but if you cant convince people to sign up with you then you wont be able to pay your bills!

You MUST be able to convince interested prospects to hire you to train them.

You MUST learn how to convey to them that YOU are the answer to their fitness related problem (weight loss, etc.)

You MUST be able to articulate the program you are going to design for them and how TOGETHER you will reach their goals!

In short you MUST be able to SELL your services as a personal trainer.

YOU MUST BE ABLE TO SELL YOURSELF!

This the part where most personal trainers say, “But I’m not a good salesman” or “I hate sales” or “I just want help people get into better shape…I DONT want to have to SELL people anything”.

You need to change this thought process immediately!!!

Just because you have to SELL something does not mean you have to be the “hard selling, stereotypical used car salesman type” salesperson.

As a matter of fact I teach the personal trainers I work with to do the exact opposite!

I teach them that if they do their initial consultation and introduction workout CORRECTLY that the process takes care of itself.

What I mean by this is that if you do this part the right way the potential client should be asking you about the price of sessions and when they can start!

Wouldnt it be nice if during or shortly after your initial meeting with a potential client THEY asked YOU when they could start and write you a check or give you their credit card without hesitation??

If you do everything the right way IT SHOULD NOT FEEL like you are trying to SELL them anything.

If you do everything the right way the potential client will see you as the answer they have been seeking and GLADLY pay for your services… without you having to asking them for money!

Selling your services as a personal trainer DOES NOT have to be hard!

The purpose of this site is to show how to make more money as a personal trainer and learning to SELL the RIGHT WAY is an essential piece to this puzzle.

Learn to do it the right way and closing the sale will never be an issue again!
