One of the easiest ways to determine if what you are doing is professional or not is to look at it from your clients point of view.
Think of it this way…
If you were paying $50-$75 per session for a package of 10 or 20 sessions ($500-$1500 total) how would you want the person YOU were hiring to act?
$1500 is good money no matter where you are located!
If YOU were spending that kind of money wouldnt you want to MOST professional trainer and service you could find?
Would YOU expect anything less for that kind of money?
If you really really wanted to learn how to GOLF and you hired a golf pro to teach you how to swing a club and eventually become a good golfer what would your expectations be?
Would it be OK with YOU if the pro was late to your sessions?
What if he had his shirt untucked and it had stains on it?
What if he answered his cell phone or chatted with other players constantly as you were trying to learn?
Remember it cost you about $1500 to hire this “pro”!
How would YOU feel after you spent all this money?
I tell you how would feel…PISSED!
Could some of your personal training clients feel this way?
Give your personal training clients everything the deserve and PAY for and make it a point to make them seem like the ONLY person in the gym!
Do let ANYTHING distract you!
Phone calls, other trainers, the girl in the spandex leaving the aerobics room..it shouldnt matter!
When clients feel special and get the results that they pay for your renewals will come easier than you can imagine!
